Services

  • Comprehensive assessment and treatment for injuries, pain, and movement issues that are affecting your life. Treatment is tailored to each individual and can include education, movement/exercise, nervous system/somatic practices, manual therapy, ergonomics and accommodations, and identifying resources and supports that could be helpful.

Physical therapy treatment can be submit to your insurance via superbill for reimbursement (depending on your plan).

I do not currently have the capacity to treat people with recent surgeries for which they need PT 2-3 times per week.

Only available for people in California due to licensing. If you are elsewhere, consider pain coaching or group programming.

In person treatment provided at your home in Huchiun/the East SF Bay Area.

  • An 8 week, small group program with other trans and queer people living with chronic pain. Many people prefer a group environment, and studies also show that this type of program can be more effective than 1:1 treatment for many. Participants will identify their own goals for the program and practice tools to work towards those goals. Content includes pain neuroscience education, nervous system/somatic practices, movement and restorative rest practices, ergonomics, accommodations, and identifying and moving towards resources and supports.

    Interest form

  • Similar to physical therapy in that we will identify and work toward your goals regarding injuries, pain, and movement issues that are affecting your life. However, we will not be creating a physical therapy plan of care and we cannot do manual therapy during consultation sessions. This option is available for people outside of CA, or those for whom PT is inaccessible for some other reason. I cannot provide superbills for this service.

  • I am trained in pelvic health physical therapy and have experience treating urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and supporting folks before and after gender affirming surgeries. Some physical therapists see folks for pelvic health full time, and that is not me - so there are some cases that need a higher level of expertise. I am providing this service to increase access for queer and trans people who understandably want to see a queer/trans provider for pelvic health concerns. We can explore working together for issues of pelvic health and if they are beyond my expertise I will refer you to another PT.

  • Are you questioning the care you are receiving? Meet with me one to a few times about your care for an injury or chronic pain. I illuminate what types of practitioners may be helpful, double check that your physical therapist is doing all that they should/could be doing to support your healing, and help you identify supports to navigate the healthcare system as you recover and implement accommodations.
